Hello golfers,
It's been a cold and frosty week, slightly different to the conditions over in South Africa, so quite a shock to the system for your head professional.
This week David Brenes has been out on the course with the camera, and I think it's fair to say the course looks absolutely stunning.
Many thanks for the picture David.
Countback was in full operation last week to determine all the results at the top of a busy November roll up with Robert Aird taking the top spot from Gary Dulieu, both having shot 39pts each in the stableford played over the East course. It was Gregor O'Brien who pipped Neville Price to 3rd place both competitors having shot 37pts.
A strong performance from the pair of Oliver Chapman & James Kirkham saw them take top spot in convincing fashion in the Turkey Trot on Sunday with a very impressive 46pts. It was David Hutton & Aaron Dart (a great start with his brand new set of Titleist irons) who took the runner-up spot with 43pts and Graeme Kemp-Jones & Jamie Lawson taking third place on count back with 42pts.

The 2017 European Tour gets underway this week with the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek CC in South Africa.
Charl Schwartzel is the defending champion and is going for a fifth title. Charl Schwartzel seeks a fifth Alfred Dunhill Championship this week at Leopard Creek Country Club in his native South Africa. The 2011 Masters champion won here back in 2005 and has also enjoyed success at the venue in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

In case you've missed it, our video of the week below is a must-watch! If you want to know who Rory's favourite female tennis player is, then watch him get grilled in this hilarious interview.
Well done to Rory for taking it all in good spirit! On a more serious note, McIlroy has been talking recently about next season - and he's already focusing on the Majors.
"Next season I just need to make sure the Majors match up to what I am doing outside of them," said the world number two. "My Major Championship performances haven't been what I wanted, but if you take the Majors away I feel like I have played pretty well and had a good season."
The 27-year-old didn't genuinely threaten to add to the four Majors he already has to his name - although he did claim the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup.
We're talking about a golfer with some pretty lofty standards here. Perhaps it's time for you to focus on next year's 'Big Ones'. Using the winter months is the ideal time to get your game in shape so you hit the ground running when the new season starts.
