Prize Draw

Thank you for your support in 2016 especially in the recent draw which had tremendous support from the membership. My first duty of the year (as it is every year), is with the help of Captain Richard Toogood and various other members, pick the winners out of the hat. This year the top prize of a set of irons went to John Heywood, with Jim Blake also having a great start to the New Year winning two prizes.

New Years

Competition Results

Here are a couple of results from around the festive year. Firstly the last Turkey Trot of the year was won by Jude and Ali MacKenzie with 45pts, Gareth Morse and John Relph took the runner-up spot on countback with 43pts from David Hutton and Aaron Dart. In fourth place it was Simon Jenman and Dave Cox with 41pts.

It was the fourball of Nick and John Coole, Josh Sacks and Ray Walker who blew any cobwebs away with a team score of 59.3 to win the New Years Day Texas Scramble. Jack Edge, Billy Walton, Tom O'Reilly and Nick Greenwood took the runner-up spot with 60.3.
