D+D Real Czech Masters
The European Tour returns to its regular scheduling after a month off this week with the sixth edition of the D+D Real Czech Masters.
Last year, Andrea Pavan claimed his maiden European Tour title after a five-under 67 at Albatross Golf Resort to defeat fellow 54-hole leader Padraig Harrington by two strokes. He returns, with the rest of the former champions - including Thomas Pieters - also in the field this week.
Players to Watch
Bernd Wiesberger: Finished T32 in his last event - The Open at Royal Portrush. He claimed the Scottish Open the week before, which followed a runner-up finish in Ireland - helping to make up four top 10s and two victories in his last seven starts. Making his first appearance here since a MC in 2014. Ranks 6th for GIR and 14th for SG: Approach the green. Andrea Pavan: The defending champion comes back to the Czech Masters following a T25 at the PGA Tour's Barracuda Championship, which came after a T4 at the Scottish Open and MC at Portrush. His T4 was one of two top-5s this season, the other being his victory at the BMW International Open. Ranks 20th GIR. J.C. Ritchie: Hasn’t played on the European Tour since a T26 at the Belgian knockout, but he's had a huge amount of success on the Sunshine Tour this year - including two wins and three top-fives in his last three starts. He was also T24 here when he played last year.
