The Players Championship

The unofficial 5th Major of the year is here with The Players Championship being played at TPC Sawgrass. Rory McIlroy won last year’s event by one stroke over Jim Furyk on his march to retaining the world number one golf ranking. The Players is pretty much officially the toughest field in all of golf. 28 of the Top 30 in the OWGR are there. OWGR's strength of field rating places this year's Players at 850, almost 300 points higher than Bay Hill last week, and nearly 800 higher than the Qatar Masters!

This year the only big miss is Tiger Woods, who, to be fair, is probably the biggest of them all. He released a statement last week after missing Bay Hill, explaining that his back is not ready for competition yet. The American has not been quite right in 2020 so far, perhaps still feeling the strain from his heroic efforts as Playing Captain of the US Presidents Cup Team late last year. Will we see him again before The Masters?

Player Watch

I'm going for some outsiders this week.

Matt Kuchar – A winner of the event back in 2012, Kuchar has had a win this year in Singapore and is a regular fixture around the top of the leaderboard in big events. His record at TPC Sawgrass is very good indeed.

Matt Fitzpatrick – Has not missed a cut since the 2019 Andalucia Masters and is currently in the midst of a good run of form with a couple of runners-up finishes and a few top-10s. He played excellently when things got tough at Bay Hill so hopefully he will be hoping for more of the same weather!

Abraham Ancer – He has had a good run of form lately with a runners-up finish at The American Express and tied 6th in Saudi Arabia. It must be his time to get his first PGA Tour win eventually so why not this week?

A: Yes, but only in black ink for these models.

Q: I don't play Pro V1, Pro V1x or AVX. Can I still participate?
A: No. Currently, Pro V1, Pro V1x and AVX are the only golf ball models that are available under the Loyalty Rewarded promotion.

Q: I ordered 6 dozen. Why did I only receive 1 dozen free?
A: The promotion allows for 1 free dozen per customer only.

Q: What is the lead time for Loyalty orders and why does it seem to be taking longer than regular orders?
A: Due to higher order volume during the promotion, orders that qualify for the Loyalty Rewarded programme can take up to 20 business days or less to be customised.

Q: How can I receive my order sooner?
