On the course... Another busy week in the men's and ladies sections with some spectacular scoring in both sections. Congratulations to Rolf Nuijens who won the Mid-week Stableford on the East Course with 42 points despite finishing with two double bogeys on the final two holes. Nick Greenwood was a close 2nd with 41 points and Peter Young finished 3rd with 39 points. Saturday's Stableford played round the East Course saw Graeme Everett blow the competition away with 43 points and reduce his handicap by two shots from 14 to 12. Runner-up was Billy Walton with an excellent 40 points (playing off two), a round that consisted of three birdies and only one bogey. In 3rd place, also with 40 points, was Kevin Collins. The Ladies Stableford on Saturday had a runaway winner with Alison Sampson with 40 points, six points clear of runner-up Jane Skyner who finished with a respectable 34 points, and 3rd was Lisa Heywood with 33 points. The weekend results was followed up with more good scoring on Monday in the Ladies Mid-week Stableford with Kim Morris claiming top spot with a fine 38 points. Runner-up spot was taken by Sandra Nadin 36 points, and 3rd place was claimed by Rose Yazdani with 33 points.
