A beautiful autumn day greeted Kevin Turner, the new captain of Sundridge Park Golf Club, as he drove in in traditional fashion from the 1st on the West. A large crowd of members and invited guests gathered and enjoyed the warm sunshine, and just before 1pm Kevin appeared and was greeted by a guard of honour from his Saturday morning chums. If there was any nerves it didn't show as Kevin pierced the middle of the fairway and he enjoyed a well-deserved glass of fizz.
Max Broughton was the junior who guessed right and picked up the ball and return it to a grateful Kevin.
Good luck in your Captaincy year from everyone at Sundridge Park.
